Our country is facing serious issues and we are wasting our time arguing about "reality tv" type issues. We need to concentrate on the 14% real unemployment rate, a deficit that is growing at record rates, job creation that is at a standstill, a stock market which will plummet again, a trade imbalance that undermines our nation, and our looming energy crises.

Over the past week, I've unfriended several people on Facebook, because they keep posting the same set of lies over and over. I'm tired of people who continually repeat things that anyone with an IQ of over 100 would realize is false. The internet has increased the rate that a lie spreads to "warp" speed. I had hoped that the people I associated with were smarter than average. Alas, I appear mistaken.

  1. People do like to bury their heads in the sand. They prefer happy fantasy to stark reality. Sadly, refusing to face reality makes you powerless to change things for the better. I understand your frustration.
